02/27/14: Man Arrested for Flash Drive Theft at Walmart
Osmel Gonzalez-Gutierrez was arrested after allegedly taken approximately $1,000 worth of Flash Drives from a Punta Gorda Walmart. The sheriff’s office was contact by Walmart and informed that a loss protection officer was chasing Mr. Gonzalez-Gutierrez through the parking lot for an alleged theft. When the deputy arrived he confronted Mr. Gonzalez-Gutierrez and placed him under arrest. Mr. Gonzalez-Gutierrez is alleged to have stolen 18 boxes of flash drives and USB cards.
